We learned about the Law of Least Effort this week.  Acceptance is the first one.  It is about things of our previous life such as circumstances, people and events that are accepted as they occur.

Responsibility is the second one.  Taking one’s own responsibility for one’s situation and for all those events that one’s sees as problems, and not blaming anyone or anything for a situation (including myself).

The last one is Defenselessness, as I will relinquish the need to defend my point of view and not to convince or persuade others to accept my point of view.

Money consciousness weaves itself into the entire fabric of our existence and the law of success is service.  We get what we give, and for this reason we should consider it a privilege to be able to give.

Fear is the opposite from money consciousness; it is poverty consciousness.  If we fear we get what we feared.

We make money by making friends and we enlarge our circle of friends by making money for then, by helping them, by being of service to them.

You can make a money magnet of yourself, but you must first consider how you can make money for other people.  If you have the necessary insight to perceive and recognize this, you can put yourself in a  position to take advantage of them.  What benefits one must benefit all.

Service is the foundation of the supply channel.  We can go into silence and ask in silence of the Universal Powers what we don’t have.  It is most practical to sit, focus and concentrate on attaining the conditions that we desire.  Then channels of supply will be opened and you will have the satisfaction of knowing that spiritual methods are entirely practical.  Focus on the desire for abundance in your life.

I always keep my promises!

This week we took off with no webinar, no reading, and no work.  We had to do things in silence without electronics, cell phones and computers.  It was difficult to go dark on electronics and not worry about my emails or texts.

I learned to master my emotions in silence, according to Og Mandino who wrote the book, The Greatest Salesman.  It was quite a challenge but I decided to try the silence while doing the chore of power washing my front pavement.  I hooked my iPhone with earbuds and listened in silence to Wallace Wattles, “The Science of Getting Rich.”  It turned out that I was able to focus on the listening intently in silence for two hours.

Much of his book gave us insights that anybody can become rich or wealthy if they can do the mental work required.  He taught that getting rich is a science.

“Getting rich is doing things in a certain way.   The good things you already have come to you along the line of obedience to certain laws.  Gratitude will lead your mind out along the ways by which things come.”

“This is the crucial point in the science of getting rich, right here where thought and personal action must be combined.  There are very many people who consciously or unconsciously set the creative forces in action by the strength and persistence on their desires. But who remain poor because they do not provide for the reception of the thing they want when it comes.  By thought the thing you want is brought to you.  By action you receive it whatever your action is to be.  It is evident that you must act now.  You cannot act in the past.  And it is essential to the clearness of your mental vision that you dismiss the past from your mind.”

It is not a good idea to live a life of misery and unhappiness just to please those around you, who are probably living lives of quiet desperation.  They will probably be the dream stealers who tell you to let go of your dreams and live a “normal life.”

Keep your mind focused on the faith, vision and desire to achieve what you want by filling your mind of becoming rich and believing in a lifestyle of abundance.  You need to have the vision of that dream lifestyle every single day.  Think about it and it will become.  Watch how things will align and then manifest.

I really felt that this book gives a good synopsis of the past weeks of the MKMMA journey we have undergone.

I will keep my promises!

How does one go “dark on electronics?”   Will we be on the verge of going crazy?

I saw this blog by Stephen J. Rosen who is in my MKMMA Class.   I just thought it was so very funny and appropriate to re-post it on my blog.

Where's Stevie?"… And so it begins. I somehow knew this day would come. Somehow, I wanted it, to come. I just didn’t think it would be asked of me, but rather of my own free will. My choice. My actions.

Yet in some way, I suppose it was.

Week 22. And, this is what is referred to as an ‘off-week’. No, not because we’re not feeling right. It’s because this coming Sunday there will not be our usual mastermind (MKMMA) webinar. We were left with some guidance over the next two weeks, and a whole potential mess of…

“no, no, really, you can do this! Its just you going to be you… left to your own devices.”

Wait, what? Left to your own devices? Well… funny I should say that, because one of the challenge-gauntlets thrown down to us this week is that we are faced with actually leaving behind our devices. Going dark. Off the radar. Off the grid. We’re tasked with trying to live, albeit only for a few hours, without any electronic communication.

  • Happy JackNo phone.
  • No texting.
  • No Facebook,
  • Twitter, or
  • LinkedIn.
  • No social media of any kind.

“Did he really say no texting?”

Yes Jack… I really did just say that. I’ve been feeling really agitated lately. On edge, ya know? Can’t really put my finger on it, but I seem to be at war with everybody… human, animal, mineral. Everyone and everything… including myself.

I heard that!

Whatever dude.

Angry JackSo, here I am. I could be at the point where I’m either just about ready to open up, to ignite, and explode all over someone…

Looney JackOr simply go batty…
certifiably mad…

I tell you…
out of my mind!

I hope this helps.
I really do.

Some much needed down time. I’m going to try and get some rest. Get some reading in. Mandino? Haanel? … Hill? Ok guys. Got to get a hold of my thoughts that lead my actions. Perhaps a bit of soul-searching is in order as well? Damn cement Buddha dust… that shit’s getting in my nose!

I will, after this post is published, not use my phone, text, call or post anything on social media for the remainder of the day. I will gauge that experience, and see if I can indeed do it again for the whole day tomorrow. Again, tomorrow night, I will reflect, and measure my results.

Want to see how well I’m doing? LOL… you’ll have to wait for me to post some results in the comments section.

Peace, love and respect,
Yeah, its Jack

Er…. um… heh…. I mean,

“This is one of the secrets of success, one of the methods of organizing victory, one of the accomplishments of the Master-Mind.  He thinks big thoughts.  The creative energies of the mind find no more difficulty in handling large situations, than small ones.  Mind is just as much present in the Infinitely large as in the Infinitely small.”

Everything that we hold in our subconscious eventually becomes creative energy in our life and environment. This is the power of prayer. Unfortunately, very few people know how to pray.  Just as there are laws that govern electricity, mathematics and chemistry, there are spiritual laws that are so definite, scientific and exact.   When we become conscious of this power in the world within, we can begin to draw on this spiritual power to manifest the objective world.

We begin to see that this science creates an impression on the brain that creates character, ability and purpose.  Our mental attitude will draw like a magnet upon the Law of Attraction.  If we can visualize beautiful new pictures that we desire, you will attract new things corresponding to the new pictures. You will continue to repeat this over and over again until the results are obtained.

We learned that large ideas have a tendency to eliminate smaller ideas so it is better to place yourself in a position to accomplish something of value: this is one of the secrets of success. Then, this will remove so many petty and annoying obstacles from you path.  You become more conscious of handling large accomplishments than smaller ones, so allow yourself to dream big again.

Dare to believe in your own ideas!

“All men will have to take their place on one side or the other; they will have to go forward, or go back; there is no standing still in a world where all is in motion; it is this attempt to stand still that give sanction and force to arbitrary and unequal codes of law.”

“The Divine Mind plays no favorites, or no exceptions to any individual: but when the individual understands and realizes his Unity with the Universal principle he will appear to be favored because he will have found the source of all health, all wealth and all power.”

This is just fascinating knowledge!

“You may have all the wealth in Christendom, but unless you recognize it and make use of it, it will have no value;

so with your spiritual wealth; unless you recognize it and use it, it will have no value.

The one and only condition of spiritual power is use or recognition.”

When you can visualize the essence of the Universal within you, you can do things, be inspired through imagination. Then, you can visualize your bliss.  It is in the sit or meditation that this power will allow your manifestation.  We need to visualize our bliss through the power of thought.  To manifest, we must to the sit over and over again with the help of visualization and imagination.  When we become inspired, it means to “get out of the beaten path, out of the rut because extraordinary results require extraordinary means.

“Do not confuse these methods with those of the clairvoyant; they have nothing in common.

Inspiration is the art of receiving and makes for all that is best in life; your business in life to understand and command

these invisible forces instead of letting them command and rule you.  Power implies service; inspiration implies power;

to understand and apply the method of inspiration is to become a superman.”

Last week, I attended a seminar for insurance agents to learn about specific products of a major carrier, Nationwide.  They gave us raffle tickets and wanted us to participate in class with questions and examples.  They will give us more raffle tickets as a reward for our contributions in class.  They informed us that the Grand Prize isn’t a trip to Hawaii but a little less significant prize — a Kindle. The fellow sitting next to me commented that he didn’t want the Kindle.  I told him that I wouldn’t mind winning it.  After a few drawings for prizes, I won twice.  I took a sleeve of golf balls on the first round.  When I won the second time the fellow wanted me to give him something since he hadn’t won yet.  I decided to pick out an XL golf polo shirt and gave it to him.  He was delighted.  At the end of the day, he won the Kindle.  And, he gave it to me as he had promised.  I was so happy!   Somehow, it was as if my thoughts and wishes were manifested.  It was the “give more get more” principle without expecting reciprocity, This experience helped me to understand this week’s lesson.

“We can live more abundantly every time we breathe, if we consciously breathe that  intention.”

“In order to secure the larger supply your demand must be increased, and as you consciously increase the demand the supply will follow, you will find yourself coming into a larger and larger supply of life, energy and vitality.”

i always keep my promises!

This week was movie week.   I decided to watch the movie, “I AM.”   It is such an intriguing movie that I had to watch it twice.  He is a very successful movie director who had gotten into a very traumatic accident that cause so much pain that he wanted to die.  After months of being isolated, he felt that he was feeling better.  He wanted to find out from modern philosophers, “What is inherently wrong with the world and what can we do about it?”

His success in the film industry allowed him to buy several multi-million dollar homes.  He traveled in a luxurious private plane.  Then, reality hit him when he realized that buying all the stuff didn’t make him happier.   Why is that when he is living the good life?  Was his life a truth or a lie?  American culture is the lost of one’s self interest.  Is materialism a pathway to happiness?

Are the humans separating from the rest of the world?  What happened to love, compassion and kindness?  Is the basic nature of humans to be dominant or democratic?  Ancient Aborigines found that the virtue of cooperativeness to be their highest value.  In America, competition is higher than cooperativeness.  Are we living in a “tooth and claw” mentality?

He decided to get rid of the big house, the private plane and live a much simpler lifestyle.  He decided to teach at a local university and inspire young people.  He wanted to affect them by building their conscious attitudes to change.

It is so fascinating that even our human genome have identical genes to the primates, dogs, fungi and trees.  We are all interconnected.  We ought to be celebrating the life that we share.  There are connections of our beings to the rest of the world.  As we embrace our consciousness to help people who are malnourished or in poverty in other parts of the world, we realize there is a confluence to the natural world.  We can begin to visualize our connection to the Universal power and to live in harmony.  This change in perception helps us to make small changes and there is a ripple effect.  Small acts bring about changes in people one by one.  Love is in our DNA.

This was said very simply by John Lennon, “All you need is LOVE!”
